Open to all 4th and 5th graders of all reading levels.  Students choose books to read from a Battle List.  Then they compete in groups of 5 in a Battle of the Books competition.

We are looking into providing a group here at Rolling Hills during the 2016-17 school year.

Activity

Rolling Hills Elementary GT

October – December


School Bee to be held in December.  The district bee is the beginning of February.

The study list will be provided to interested students when it is available at the beginning of the 2016-17 school year.  The Spelling Bee Study Club will begin in October.

January – March

This before and after school club will be available in grade level groups:  K-2 and 3-5.

The district tournament is held toward the beginning of March each year.  It is open to any student K-12.  After a chess tournament held at Rolling Hills Elementary, the winners will be sent to the district tournament.
